Prayer Shawl Ministry
A group of prayerful, enthusiastic knitters/crocheters met on April 16 to begin our Prayer Shawl Ministry. The shawls are for comfort, outreach and sharing spiritual bonds, prayers for encouragement and community. When finished, the shawls are given away to anyone who might need a reminder that they are loved and cared for.
We will continue to meet on the 3rd Monday of the month from 10 am to 12 pm in the Fireside Room. Our next meeting will be May 21. Patterns to knit or crochet a prayer shawl are available in the church office for work at home. Contact Joanne Matson or Chris Jenkins for more information.
We had a wonderful retreat at Westminster Woods in January - hope you can join us next time!
