Christmas Eve Services

Saturday, December 24

Our evening Christmas Eve services are always special, with three different, distinctive and very beautiful worship services.

4:00 PM - Child-Friendly Pageant with Carols The Christmas story will be read, carols will be sung, and our children will participate in a lively, even raucous, pageant. We will light the Christ candle at the center of our Advent wreath and conclude with a candlelight recessional to the courtyard. Childcare is available for this service

6:00 PM - Family-Friendly Service with Lessons and Carols Join us and the Handbell Choir for a Children's Message, sermon by Rev. Broadbent and conclude with a candlelight recessional to the courtyard. Childcare is available for this service

8:30 PM - Traditional Service of Lessons & Carols with Sermon - Traditional readings of the Christmas story along with carols. Our Chancel Choir provides worship music and Rev. Broadbent preaches a sermon. The service concludes with a candlelight recessional to the courtyard.

Faith Formation at 9 am

We have some exciting new programs and a new format for Sunday mornings! The biggest shift is that we will now have an educational hour with programming for all ages 9:00-10:15am every Sunday morning. The whole church will join in worship at 10:30am, with the option for children to continue to Children’s Worship in the Chapel with Pastor Rachel after the Children’s Sermon.

There is a place for everyone starting at 9 am - click here for schedule information

Sunday Worship at 10:30 am

Bible

Following our Faith Formation at 9 am on Sunday mornings, the whole church will join in worship at 10:30am. All people are welcome in worship, and we encourage babies and toddlers to attend with their families! A diaper-changing station is located in the bathroom off the Fireside Room.

Immediately following worship we invite you to share conversation and fellowship during our Coffee Hour in the courtyard.

The Second Sunday of Advent: Peace

This Sunday we gather for multi-generational worship and light the second Advent candle, the candle of “Peace,” Not just the absence of strife, but the presence of widespread justice. The Handbell Choir is with us and Rev. Benjamin Broadbent, Senior Minister, preaches a sermon on Matthew 2:1-6 “The Bethlehem Promise.”
